We often hear from students that they were informed by a court clerk that the court fees cover traffic school expenses. However, this is not accurate. Traffic schools operate independently from the court and DMV, and we don't receive any funds from these government entities.
Addressing your second concern, it seems there's been another oversight by the court in conveying the cost of traffic school. Different traffic schools determine their prices based on their unique business structures. Our course starts at a very affordable rate of $6.95, and depending on the supplementary services a student chooses, it can go up to $30.
