Traffic schools operate independently from the court and DMV, and we don't receive any funds from these government entities.

Different traffic schools determine their prices based on their unique business structures. "the course has an error, stating that children ages 8 to 16 must ride in rear seats. i didn't check the vehicle code, but i did check the dmv handbook and it says that they must have appropriate safety belts:
Children eight years of age and older, but under 16 years must be prop-erly secured with an appropriate safety belt. Children under eight years of age, who are less than 4 feet 9 inches tall must be properly secured in an appropriate child passenger restraint system that meets federal safety standards. However, children under eight years of age, who are 4 feet 9 inches tall or taller may be secured with an appropriate safety belt instead of a child passenger restraint system. "
