There is large recall on a number of automakers in relation to air bags failing. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration urges owners of certain Toyota, Honda, Mazda, BMW, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Chrysler, Ford and General Motors vehicles to act immediately on recall notices to replace defective Takata airbags.
It is highly recommended that you click on the following link and confirm that your car is not on the list of affected cars. See VIN # search on their website for confirmation. The VIN number can be found in the lower corner of the windshield of your car.
